Within our opening hours we can provide access to our exhibitions for up to 16 people every 30 minutes.

The access is only possible at the booked time slot, in case of delays of 15 minutes and more, the admission can no longer be guaranteed.

The reduced entrance fee applies to the following visitors

- Pupils, trainees, students from 18 years of age

- Severely handicapped persons from 50%

- Members of the Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival (SHMF) e.V.

- Lübeck city guides

- Lübeck Card holders

The discount entitlement in the form of a written certificate must be shown at the front desk.

Free admission is granted to:

- Children and teenagers under 18

- Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons with entitlement to accompaniment

- Representatives of the press with a valid press card

- Members of the German Museums Association (DMB) with a valid ID card

- Members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) with a valid ID card

- Employees of the museums of Luebeck

- Visitors who celebrate their birthday on the day of their visit

Old vouchers for family tickets can still be redeemed.

The voucher must be shown at the front desk when visiting.

Children and teenagers under 18 years

- have free admission to our permanent and special exhibition

- book the free ticket »Child 0-17 years«

- under 14 years of age may only visit the exhibitions in the company of a person of full age

- that are visiting the museum in a class group may only do so within the context of a booked guided tour

If you would like to visit us as a group,

- you must book a guided tour

- you will receive a reduced entrance fee for groups of 15 or more people

- use the appropriate group form for your request

Guided tours through our exhibitions

- must be requested in advance via the group form

- can be divided into several tours starting at different times for larger groups

Public tours through our Main Exhibition are currently not offered.

There are no audio guides available for our main and special exhibition.

However, our main exhibition includes various audio stations that give you further information.

We are open daily, including Mondays, from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Only on December 24th the museum remains closed.

Our museum shop offers you a changing selection of hot and cold drinks as well as savoury and sweet snacks.

You may also bring your own food and drinks and consume it on site.

You can find a sufficient number of lockers at our front desk.

The free ticket entitles the holder to enter the respective booked exhibition upon presentation of the following documents at the cash desk:

- Registration number

- Proof of information for Asylum seekers

- Passport/card of identity
